Two Indians in the Arctic
Roo and I have spent the last few days meeting with members of the Sami community here in Karasjok. We've been very honored to visit the Sami Parliament of Norway, to walk around the building and hear from parliament member Inger Fjellgren about her perspective on Sami politics and governance. We've also talked with several people here in Karasjok about perspectives on land rights, colonial histories, and climate change.
And we've developed some strange theories about queer trees.
Have a listen.
